You can see the total joy on my face in the photo above — seeing all the pretty details come together was one of my favorite parts of our wedding day. The flowers (so colorful!), the centerpieces (75+ antique bottles!), the cupcake toppers (a total Etsy score!). The small details are your chance to really show your personality and I had so much fun scouring Etsy and employing my crafty mom to help. Today I’m sharing more info on some of the sweet details featured in our post on Style Me Pretty.
The altar: After receiving a price quote for elaborate altar arrangements, it was time to get creative. My sweet parents hauled in my mom’s antique sewing table, and with a few vases and thrifted candleraba, we were all set!
Chair garlands: To add a little color to the brick courtyard and ballroom at the Hotel Monaco, we decorated silver chiavari chairs with heart garlands from Etsy seller thePathLessTraveled.
Cupcake toppers: After seeing the cuteness of the chair garlands, I went back to thePathLessTraveled for matching heart cupcake toppers!
The centerpieces: I had the idea early on to use multiple turquoise bud vases for our centerpieces, so that each table was unique. The Enchanted Florist did such a wonderful job setting it all up and the fun downloadable table numbers from Etsy seller SwellAndGrand tied in perfectly.
Escort card table: We also used SwellAndGrand’s templates for escort cards (and for a fun sign!).
Guest “book”: I have Pinterest to thank for stumbling upon Etsy seller peachwik. They make the cutest personalized guest trees — your guests can sign their name in the leaves!
Ring bearer: I happily shared the spotlight with the world’s cutest ring bearer. My nephew looked so smart in his suspenders and Nordstrom bow-tie!
Drink accessories: If you’ve been to a bar with my husband or me, you know we don’t leave home without a koozie. It’s just our thing. So when it came to favors, we knew personalized koozies (from Totally Promotional) were a must. Striped paper straws (from Minted) were also a fun touch.
Personalized pillows: To play up our initials, my mom made these fun pillows for the lawn furniture at cocktail hour. I love having these as a keepsake after the wedding.
Photobomb: By far, one of the most hilarious “details” of our wedding was the random photobomber kid in the background of a few of our ceremony shots. She had the best seat in the house!…
