Today I’m pushing a clothing trend that you may not have much of in your closet. Lace! I admit, when I first think of lace, my mind goes to old lady dresses or well, lingerie. But retailers are cranking out a ton of adorable and modern lace dresses, and I’ve happily jumped on the lace bandwagon. Lace is feminine, soft, and I love how the texture adds interest. Here are a few affordable lacy options (I frankly want to buy them all). Which one is your favorite?

/ July 18, 2012Actually my fave would have to be the cute lime one you are wearing! What a great color. I have two lace dresses in cream and grey, but don’t wear them all that often. (Lace and preschoolers don’t mix well together.

/ July 18, 2012Thanks! I was a little intimidated by the neon green when I first tried it on, but I’m a huge fan now! Sounds like your lace dresses will be reserve for weekend-use only ; )

/ July 18, 2012A lof of the current versions of current lace dresses and tops seem to feature a more oversized lace detail… maybe that makes it look more modern versus grandma. What do you think.
